Can you tell me what the price ranges are for waterfront condos.  I'm not looking for anything extraordinary.  I'm just considering purchasing one for weekend fun. Can you recommend  a good location?

In the late 70's and through the 80's several Condominiums were built around the lake offering waterfront and many of those have boat slips included.  These condos begin in the $70,000 range (1/1) and can go up to the $150,000 range.  Most of these have some really nice open water views that are actually better than some of the townhomes that were being built later in the 90's.....if that's what your looking for. But then... Seabrook and El Lago have recently been approved for some highrise condos that are in the process of being built..... these will be state of art in design and a price tag to match it..... so if you're just looking for a nice home away from home check out the condos on the north side of the lake.... a few to consider would be  The Landing, Natchez Landing, Lakeshore, Mariner Village, and if you want to try the south side.... Southpoint or the The Warf.
